Redoubt Soccer Association have final authority regarding all game cancellations 

• Decisions are made to ensure player safety and field preservation 

• Individual teams/coaches cannot cancel games independently Weather Conditions Monitored: 

1. Lightning/Thunder • Games suspended immediately if lightning observed • 30-minute wait period after last lightning sighting 

2. Heavy Rain • Games may proceed unless field conditions become unsafe • Standing water creating hazardous playing conditions • Field damage risk assessment by Redoubt officials 

3. Extreme Heat • Additional water breaks implemented • Possible shortened games • Cancellation if heat index reaches dangerous levels 

Communication Process: 

• Cancellations posted on Collegedale Soccer League website & Social Media 

• Email/text alerts to registered participants 

• Minimum 2-hour notice when possible Make-up Games. 

Collegedale Soccer league will work with Redoubt to attempt to reschedule cancelled games 

• No guarantee of make-up dates
