⚽ Collegedale Soccer League

It was a rainy and cold championship Sunday, but that couldn't stop it from being a great and memorable day for soccer!

Congrats to the champions of our 5 competitive divisions:

U8 - USA (Micheff)

U10 Girls - Spain (Churchwell)

U10 Boys - USA (White)

U14 Girls - Mexico (Clark)

U14 Boys - Argentina (Mendoza)

What a season! The games were competitive, hard-fought, and most importantly — fun. We are so grateful that players ages 3 to 13 had the chance to learn and grow in the game of soccer.

None of this happens without our amazing community. Thank you to our sponsors, parents, coaches, and players — your time, dedication, and engagement made this a truly special season.

We've experienced tremendous growth over four years, but our focus will always be on getting better — not just bigger. Coaching, parent engagement, player development, and league leadership have all improved, and we're committed to making the experience more enjoyable every year.

Looking ahead, we need your help to keep growing — especially with players ages 7 to 13. Our goal next season is to offer three divisions for both boys and girls competitive play: U10, U12, and U14. This ensures only two age groups per division, creating the fairest and most competitive experience possible. It's been a dream since day one, and after four years of building, we're almost there.

Your word of mouth is by far our most powerful tool for growth. A simple conversation with a friend, neighbor, or coworker can make a big difference. Help us spread the word and make next season the best one yet!

Next week, it's time to celebrate our All-Stars! Whether your child is on the field or cheering from the sidelines, we'd love to see everyone come out and show their support. These kids and coaches have poured their hearts into this season, and they truly deserve a big crowd behind them.

This isn't about trophies or tournaments — it's about pride, joy, and having a great time together. Let's come out and celebrate an incredible season of hard work and dedication. See you there!

**Spectator Seating**

As a reminder, proper sideline etiquette requires all spectators to sit on the opposite side of the field from the players' bench. This helps give our coaches and players the space they need during games. For our U3, U4, U7, and U8 families — while you are not required to sit on the opposite side, please be mindful not to block the players' bench so that it remains accessible and usable for the kids and coaches.

**Parking**

Please do not park on Bonny Oaks. There is available parking in designated areas, and we want to be respectful of the roadway and surrounding community. Remember to lock your doors and not to leave valuables in your car.

**No Dogs**

As a friendly reminder, dogs are not permitted at the fields. Please leave your furry friends at home on game days.

**Keep Our Fields Clean**

Please remember to throw away all trash before you leave. Let's keep our fields looking great for everyone. Please remember to pick up clothes and water bottles as well.

**Food Trucks**

We will continue to have food trucks available, with different options rotating each week. Please support our vendors — it's a great way to grab a meal and enjoy the day!

**Sun Safety & Hydration**

With the heat we've been having, please make sure to put sunblock on your kids before they arrive and bring plenty of water. I'd also encourage families to consider bringing a tent or canopy for shade — whether for your spectator area or for your child's team if they don't already have one set up on the bench side. For those teams that do have one on Field 5A and FB, please consider positioning your tent in a way that covers both benches.
